SIPME VoIP Services

SIPME Broadband Communications is one of the divisions of iNetTrader Pty Ltd which was founded in 1992. Apart from SIPME, other divisions of iNetTrader comprises of IGN Internet, 1428 Communications, and iNetTrader Voice Wholesale.

It utilises the latest SIP technology for offering voice services over broadband Internet connections.

SIP is a basically a VoIP (Voice-over-IP) protocol, which allows more than two people to place calls to each other using the Internet instead of regular telephone network.  All these “On-Net” calls are free, 24 hours a day. User needs to have existing broadband Internet connections such as ADSL and he is required to obtain either a SIP hardware adaptor or free SIP softphone to get started with SIPME broadband communications.

How to Sign Up for SIPME?

The new sign up process does not need any credit card payment details or prepaid amount. Customer needs to be registered with SIPME and then he will receive a new SIPME account and password immediately with zero balance.

Users can use this zero balance for making “On-net” SIPME to SIPME calls and if they want to make calls to other numbers, they need to recharge their account.

What are the plans offered by SIPME?

SIPME has launched new calling plans from 1st March 2009, and old plans are no longer offered. Existing customers have the option of either migrate to new plan or stick to the old plan.

SIPME Lite Plan: This plan is a prepaid pricing plan and there are no monthly fees involved.

-         Offers 9.9c untimed to Australian fixed lines

-         Offers 25c per minute to Australia mobiles

-         Offers 9.9c untimed to various countries including Canada, Singapore, China, USA and UK land lines

-         Provides timed destinations from 1.9c per minute

SIPME World30 Plan: This plan is prepaid pricing plan and weekly service fee of $1 is deducted from prepaid balance.

-         Offers 8.5c untimed to Australian fixed lines

-         Offers 22c per minute to Australia mobiles

-         Offers 8.5c untimed to 30 selected international destinations

-         Provides timed destinations from 1.9c per minute

The 30 destinations for the SIPME World30 Plan comprises of countries spanning various continents worldwide and includes UK, USA, China, Canada, Singapore, Russia, and many more.

SIPME VoIP Features and benefits

-         There are no signup cost or contracts involved

-         Allows the user to place calls from anywhere including home, office, wireless hotspot, and many places until user has internet access.

-         Allows the facility of placing calls in roaming locations for travellers and telecommute workers

-         Free On Net calls between SIPME to SIPME subscribers

-         Calls other than On net are charged at exceptionally low rates

-         There are no connection fees, hidden costs involved

-         Users can easily check and manage their usage online

Summary

SIPME is offering free On Net calls and very cheap Off Net calls. In case of free “On-Net” calls, both the caller should be registered SIPME users and possess a SIP hardware adapter or softphone. If a user wants to make calls to non SIP number worldwide, he should open a SIPME prepaid minutes account.
