Motorola Droid is the product of the joint efforts and collaboration of the Verizon Wireless and Google. This phone presents the gorgeous display with excellent Android 2.0 updates. Benefits and Features
Display: This phone has got the biggest and gorgeous WVGA display measuring 3.7 inches. It comes with colour support of 16 million hues and the richest resolution of 440×854 pixels. It shows the bright display and is brilliant with sharp graphics and vibrant colours.
The capacitive display’s touch interface is in sync with the user and is quick as well as responsive. It possesses a multi touch capability and its basic interface looks familiar to Android users. It comes with only three home screens with central pane showing the Google search bar.
Keypad and controls: There are four touch controls just below the Droid’s display including Back, Menu, Home, and Search. The functions of these controls are the same as that of other Android phones. The user interface of the phone is more refined and streamlined in comparison to previous android phones. It also comes with the built-in media player that get support for various audio formats including MP3, AAC, AMR-NB, WAV, MIDI and Windows Media Audio 9 formats.
Camera: It possesses the 5-megapixel camera that takes pictures in three resolutions and presents a slick user interface.

The Motorola Droid comes with a gorgeous display along with the benefits of Android 2.0 such as a faster Web browser, better messaging and contact management and Google Maps Navigation application. It also provides excellent call quality with long talk time and enhanced speed.
Motorola Droid has some design issues and some missing features as compared to previous android phones. However, it is the most powerful as well as fastest Google Android device among all of them. It completely incorporates the openness of the Android platform and provides Verizon customers a smartphone that scores better than its touch screen competitors on the market.
