In case of international conference calls, user needs to consider the locations and availability of the participants in global conference call. However, in case of domestic calls, no such time adjustments are needed.

An international conference call usually comprises of interactions between the participants of different cultures backgrounds. In case of Domestic calls, the calling participants can focus solely on the content of the call as they are accustomed to culture. However, in case of international conference call, user needs to consider the cultural differences amongst participants. It is required as there are different etiquettes for making calls in different countries.

Another point to be considered in international conference calls is the existence of Language barriers between the participants. User who has planned the call can send an agenda of the call along with relevant notes and additional documents before the conference call. It will help the participants to get prepared for the call. Also, if one is talking to participants from other language background, one should speak slowly and clearly. Also it is good practise to provide detailed minutes of the call after the call.
